Sometimes I wish I could look at the world through the eyes of a kid. I would see the world as an exciting place just waiting to be explored. I would not be syndical and judgmental and I would not give one single thought about what people might be thinking about me. I would live as today was the only day that matters, not caring about tomorrows problems. I would smile often and make people laugh. I would see the joy in everything and every situation, play and play and not worry.
There is a lot to learn from a kid, how to live free and not worry about small things in life that don't matter in the long run. This is not an easy task for sure, I often find myself doing the opposite; worrying about tomorrow. I have learned over the years though that if I can just stay in the moment, focusing on the thing I am doing right now, the worries goes away. Even if just for a second, my mind is free. When I feel the heaviness of the world taking over my mind, I try to redirect my thoughts to what it feels like to stand with my feet on the ground, how my breath feels in my lungs, and that in this moment right now, everything is ok.
